I've just started experimenting with End Grain centerbands.
Both wenge and zebrawood have strikingly interesting patterns... but the lines can feel very linear... and imho sometimes distracting as centerbands.
But using the end grain creates a magnificent wavy or marbled effect. I've had some trouble cutting them, but figured out some tricks.
Thanks for looking,
Cullen

Nice contrast

Looks pretty good to me. And who would have thought such a simple thing could make so much difference.
