Last one of 2021

Well, I managed to get one more done in 21, simple but I like it. I've had this Patriot kit for a while now. Here it is in bog oak (Ukrainian). Finish is just a few layers of GluBoost thin buffed with 2400 and 3200 micromesh pads (that's really it). The pictures really don't do the blank justice. Between the grain and the rays, the patterns are flowing all over the place. It probably shows up about the best in my hand in the last pic. The bog oak isn't quite as black as stuff I've used in the past, but the patterns show up better and it seems to match the slightly champaign color in the hardware. Happy New year!

Like it the Satin finish complements the wood simple but we'll made.

Thanks for the likes and compliments. I got about 15 drilled, glued up, and squared off over the last couple days, but just had to get one actually turned after all that for some small sense of accomplishment.
