I thought I could begin to relax and start cleaning the shop, but no.

A good customer, a locally famous nature writer, texted that he wanted special pens for Christmas. It was 12/22! I had made wedding rings for him and his fiancé recently and he wanted spalted tamarind. I had spalted maple and spalted beech which he liked. I only had two high end kits in stock as they are somewhat hard to buy now.

Delivering now. Completed in 12 hours.

Back to shop upgrades and cleaning. It has been a very, very wildly successful December.

Beautiful pens. I'm in the same predicament. I planned on cleaning the shop before Christmas and I had a customer yesterday, and, I now have a customer today ordering pens for Christmas. At least she is local, so I'm not worried, but shop cleaning is now back on the to do list.....
