Well it's a change from Brass interestingly nothing blew out on drill or turning and I used Thick CA.
I cannot explain this perhaps beginners luck.
Darker wood would be better with Aluminium and maybe a Chrome Kit.
I will try combining Brass with Aluminium but after Christmas now and I fear we could be locked down then so plenty of time.
Please feel free to comment.
I would like to wish all of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Please stay safe.

Nice looking knot. Did you do anything special to minimize the aluminum sanding dust from darkening the surrounding wood?

I would like to see your combination aluminum and brass when you make it.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Kevin

I spell colour differently too. šŸ¤£
My second and third grade teacher taught us many British spellings and the older English "Millions". I was confused when I changed schools in the 5th grade, but forgot about it by middle school. Then when my family and I moved to Japan in the mid 80's, and I began taking the English news papers (British Editors) over there, the British system came up again. My grade school teacher was preparing me for my future in International English!

Thank you Hank. Have a Peaceful Christmas.

Michael the knot looks well done. I will have to try brass and maybe a combo sometime in the future as well. Thanks for showing.
