Professional Nebula

This is one of the new PSI Professional twist pens, in chrome and gold. KenB259 brought it to my attention in his post. The bulbous tip looks odd, at first, but is growing on me. The tip makes it front heavy, but it's not uncomfortable to hold. Overall, I like it, and will be making more. The blank is another beautiful Diamond Cast called Nebula. I never get tired of Diamond Cast blanks.

Very easy to assemble, with only the clip/cap assembly a press fit. The upper and lower sections are pushed together by hand.

As with all Diamond Cast blanks, this one was very messy.

The platings they put together look really nice and I really like the split clip. Having never held one maybe the bulbous feature feels nice in your hand. I never really mind a top heavy pen and I prefer a hefty feel. Nice job on this one, blank is gorgeous.

I personally prefer big, heavy pens, so this one is right up my alley. I do have several friends who prefer slim pens. I hate slimlines, but do like the PSI Groove and Berea Surfix Duo (Woodcraft Slim Hybrid).
