This is the first pen I have posted here, but I have been lurking for a while.
I am making a ton of pens for christmas gifts. This one is for my wifes best friend. They love sailor moon, and I had this idea to make a somewhat abstract blank that calls back to the show. I think it turned out pretty good overall.
I poured the blanks a few days before. This was both my first real attempt at pouring my own blanks and making a segmented blank with intent. (I've done one segmented blank just so I could get a rough idea of the process.)
The pour was okay. The white was not as opaque as I would like, so you can see the brass tube a bit on the other side.
Diva pen kit in rhodium and brass with red gems. Sanded down to 12000 grit wet sanding pads and polished with a couple coats of friction polish.
