once you get below the outside bark of an antler you run into a soft and grainy material that absorbs your finishing material. That makes a secondary pen in my view. I think nr 1 and 7 fall into that category. They are still nice pens. P.

Second the mask and ventilation! The few times I turned antler it smelled like the deer came in and pissed all over the lathe.
