G'day!
I have a customer that just loves churchhill pens. He loves the old fashioned, basic no fuss approach.
A relatively inexpensive kit, but one of the only few with an acrylic section. Alot of my customers can't stand metal sections.
I also jb welded an extra piece of tube to the barrel tube as he likes the pen to be 140 mm from tip to finial (massive hands, he is a piano teacher). Jowo #6 nib added to the kit housing and feed.
This chakte viga/paela burl was magnificent from start to finish.
Cheers!

Thaat is a very nice pen, and the nice thing about a fountain pen is that it can be made to virtually any l length you want since you do not have to fit it to accept a refill.

very nice! I'm sure he will be happy with it.
The wood looks exactly like some I bought as Log wood, I have seen it called blood wood also (not satine).
Does the dust turn water purple?

A stunning pen in all respects. I love the extra length as it gives more canvas for the beautiful blank. Very nce. đź‘Ť

I have some bloodwood burl also, looks similar. The dust stays deep orange, has a lovely sweet fruity smell
