When you turn a piece of wood, you never know whether you will turn away the best features until it is down to size. These two came out pretty nice. I found the wood a bit soft and had some tear out which I was unhappy with. CA managed to even out most of the tear out. I have sent the pens off so I can't check, but I am pretty sure that isn't a crack at the bottom of the second picture.
