I really like the different patterns you are coming up with Alan, and this one is a real winner! Well done. With a simple switch of the timbers, a very different appearance. Very nicely done.

Thanks Mark. Unfortunately I found nothing simple trying to get the reverse ribbon to start at the top of the front ribbon and finish at the bottom of the next one. ( I hope that you understand that ) and leave triangles.I really like the different patterns you are coming up with Alan, and this one is a real winner! Well done. With a simple switch of the timbers, a very different appearance. Very nicely done.
That was mark 6 I believe. Not easy when the grey matter doesnt work the way that it used to.

I google 'inlay banding' and find a pattern to try to copy.
Reproducing the pattern is the challenge.
