G'day!
Matched some teal acrylic with this piece of Katalox, aka Mexican royal ebony. Black and white spacers, bees wax finish. The acrylic was hard to focus on!
Jowo #6 nib.

I hope you don't take offense, this is only my opinion. But I think the blue is too bright. Too much contrast with the wood. It's distracting to me.

Thanks. My phone lens struggled to focus on the acrylic and made it look alot more vivid than it looks in person. The katalox that I have isn't all that dark

None taken. Not everyone's cuppa tea. I've had a few people enquire to buy it, others aren't fond of it. In person the acrylic isn't as neon, for some reason my phone camera struggled to focus on it, kinda looks like it's glowing

I like the color combination. It may be a bit bright for some, but I actually think the contrast between the two materials works well. I think the spacers help pull it off. Another work of art Casey.
