Just a random comment/suggestion/thought. Do you have calipers? Turning to bushing size is a hit/miss experience to get the transitions close. I have found it helpful to use calipers for the final OD (outer dimension) for my final tool passes. Measure the components, then use the calipers with bushings for refinement.
