G'day!
I had a few churchhills prepared and had a bit of an idea. After finding out that a churchhill section fits my bespoke pens well, I thought I could use the kit's threaded parts and epoxy them into timber.
I didn't use the brass tubes, so she is a very light pen.
I had to make a mandrel for the cap as it was too tight to fit my bespoke mandrel.
Anyway, it is made from Australian Beefwood, bees wax finish, jowo #6 nib.
Twas fun!
Check out the medullary rays on the end!
