Made my first kitless fountain pen today

Cap and body made of diamond cast 'emerald city,' section made of ebonite, using a #5 JoWo EF nib. Threads are m12x.8 for cap and body, and finial, m9x.75 for the section. Made it postable too!

wow. i'd be happy if my 2nd, 3rd or 4th comes out that nice. and thanks for mentioning the tap sizes you used with that nib size.
guess i'm gonna go down that rabbit hole next.
 
"I eyeballed every single measurement", now that's just showing off :D. Seriously though, that's a really nice pen, especially for a first try at kitless. I was thinking about giving kitless a try sometime soon but now that I know how high the bar is, I will probably rethink that...
