Been a long time since I have turned anything, so when I had a bit of spare time I took the opportunity to see what I could use out of the drawers.
I found this unused kit, and found a piece of Truestone already glued up on a Sierra tube.
It felt good to be at the lathe again :)

Looks like it's called "Virage". It is a nice pen to hold and write with.
It's built on the same chassis as the Sierra, I prefer a pen that has a nib or finial that unscrews to change the refill.
But it's a nice looking kit all the same.

The 6 inch dust extraction hose behind my lathe sucks away all dust and fumes, but a good caution for those without dust extraction. Thanks.
 
Talk about a "quick fix" !! . I'll bet you got it from making THAT pen, Brad !!

It is GORGEOUS !!!!

Malachite green on the chrome Virage kit ..... can't beat it !!!!
