Editor Plywood

The pen is an Editor in gunmetal, from Exotic Blanks. The blank is a piece of plywood. Yes, honest to goodness plywood. I made a plywood pen once years ago, and decided to try another. It's kind of ugly and interesting at the same time. Definitely unique.

It started tearing a little, so I finished shaping it with 100 and 150 grit sandpaper, followed by 220 through 500 grits. The finish is Pens Plus.

Interesting!! Next stabilized batch i do with dye will have a few pieces of plywood added to the pot. There's always room for a few more blanks in the chamber!!

I made a particle board pen once, too. If I had some OSB, I'd try that.
