Not the most attractive Pen but a challenge in turning. For me anyway. Don't think it win any design awards and not a very practical Pen,

I think it is GREAT !!!! . Well done !!!

But how do you change the refill ?????
 
The nib screws off no problem. I made my own ring turning tools from Masonry Nails.
When you turn the ring not alot of wood between the tube possibly about 1.5 mm
May make another and try to put a bit more style in it.

The Kit used is the Atom2 from Prokraft. Living in the UK I use them alot good service. Don't know about getting them in the US.
I expect with the choice you have there is probably a US equivalent.

They are quite small and think I used a Masonry Screw but you could form them with any hard material then grind them. I made these years ago hope this helps.
You do need to form a right hand and left hand.

First turn the Goblet and drill two opposing holes. Then turn the Arrow leaving the point not shaped. Place this end in boiling water for about 15 minutes take out and compress in a vice leave overnight. Take out the following day and it should pass through the holes in the Goblet. I turned the rings separately and placed these on the arrow. Now place the arrow tip back into boiling water again for 15 min.
It will then return to shape. Sand the arrow to shape.
Its much easier to do than explain.

Thanks for listening Mike!. I haven't done much pen turning in a while. Here's a pen & pencil set I did in cocobolo with a pen box made of pine, I did back in Oct.
