I wanted to turn slimmer but the knot-effect would be gone. I measured all with a digital caliper and wrote it down.I think you are on to something. Exciting when something surprises like that! Well done.
I wasn't paying attention to your location at first, but just realize that you are located in a metric system country. I lived in Japan for 25+ years and loved the ability to find metric sizes in circular saw blades and other saw blades that I could not get in the USA. I have numerous 1mm kerf and a few .9mm kerf circular saw blades. I wish I could fine large bandsaw blades with a 1mm kerf.I wanted to turn slimmer but the knot-effect would be gone. I measured all with a digital caliper and wrote it down.
The initial blank was about square 24.6 by 24.9 mm.
Drilling was perfect in the middle i thought, measuring the wall thickness from all 4 sides showed that there was a difference of 0.4 mm between 2 sides. The other 2 sides were equal to eachother.
The bandsawblade that i used has 6 tpi, 12 mm blade and a 1.2 mm kerf, my other blade 4 tpi 18 mm blade kerf i don't know yet.
So i ordered 2 new blades. Tomorrow i try the scrollsaw, but the kerf?
