First pen in a while. Atlas with a blank I made playing around.

Paul absolutely like this design New and well thought out. Many different aspects going in there. The ovals are so clean. I may just have to borrow this:) If you ever decide to share the technique you need to do a tutorial or at least a explanation. Understand if you choose to sit on it for awhile. Finally get to see a new segmented design that tips the scales. Thanks for showing. Keep them coming.

Paul as a suggestion because you said you are going to make another, post it on a stand or something other than your hand. I believe this can make the front page but I know Jeff will not post pens in the hand.

Now I do not know if guests views count as total views but if they do that explains it but if you are a member and open this up and do not hit the like button then something is amiss. :):):) I am in your corner Paul. Need to get those like numbers up.

VERY B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L PEN !!!!!

I LOVE that segmentation !!!!! . Superbly done !!!!!

Looking forward to learning more about your techniques !!!!!

Wow, and thanks again. I think I will make a stand todayšŸ˜

Not really a stand, but better than the palm of my handšŸ˜. Pieces of the project. The black is some dyed vernier I have from a cue maker friend. Works well.

That works for showing off the pen but needs a stand to take to next level and it belongs on the next level. I keep coming back to the photo and it is a different look and the colors make it pop. Good combination. Now this is a small suggestion but it would be something I would try if I were doing this and that is to use that black veneer around the white wood also. Just like you did the red. Ties in real well with the theme.

Here's a couple of pics similar to how this pen was done.

Thanks Paul for posting. It helps to realize how those type blanks are made. Sometimes we can not visualize things because they are round when finished. That is why segmenting is so much fun.
