Here is a pen I finished today. It's made from vintage cellulose acetate, black acrylic, and silver. I was rummaging through my box of vintage tubes, and came across this material I'd not used before, so I got the urge to make something from it. As it only measured in around 13mm diameter, it was suited for a barrel only, so I used black acrylic for the cap, grip, cap threads, and barrel finial. As I firmly believe the cap of the pen should tie into the barrel somehow, I inlaid a piece of material on the cap finial. I made the trim and clip from argentium silver wire. The pen is about 5" from nib to end, and 1/2" diameter at the threads. It uses a jowo 6 nib, and is converter filled.
