Trying my first picture upload. I figured I might as well start with a picture of myself in my shop.
That "greenie" Shopsmith I'm leaning against is currently my only turning lathe. It's about 3 years older than me and I'm getting ready to turn 54! I completely tore it down and rebuilt it after purchasing it as a basket case about 5 years ago. Mounted on it is the SS bandsaw which I use regularly for cutting my pen and bowl blanks to size.
Dead center is Craftsman table saw with homemade outfeed table on the back and a Rockler router table fitted on the right. when I don't need it for routing or sawing panels, its central area works great for holding turning tools and parts.
To the right is an old Craftsman Radial Arm Saw and Makita miter saw.
Pegboard in the back holds most of the regularly used hand tools.
And out of the picture to the left is my Snap-On tool chest from my auto mechanic days and a Craftsman full size drill press.
Welcome to my world!
