its pretty obvious from this site that you can make pens from almost anything. I've got a friend that restores old guns and found out that he was tossing the old broken stocks. I got him to send me several and started making pens from them. I've given several to veterans - what's more appropriate for an old warrior then a pen from an old weapon. The broken stock is from a 1920s shotgun which has been restored to operation and the other pens are from a 1930s rifle
