My first Worthless Wood blank

This was my second pen-swap pen. I always try to challenge myself to do something new so I made a worthless wood blank for the first time.

I can't remember what kind of wood it was but the bark made the resin not harden. It was first cast in red swirl polyester resin (with a small spot of blue resin that overflowed from the neighboring blank, then the soft parts were dug out using dental tools and it was filled with CA and ebony dust.
