I'm working with Corian a lot at the moment. I tried a flag pen. The stripes kinda wave when you rotate the pen in your fingers. It is difficult to get the 'stripes' glued up at an angle like that. I may go with gluing them together straight and the cutting the blanks at an angle. Sort of wasteful, but it may save my sanity.
I'm also experimenting with creating Warrant Officer rank insignia in the pens. CW4 and CW3 are displayed, a blank with a CW5 bar is below. The insignia go all the way thru the blank. I'm having trouble keeping the pieces of Corain togehter when turning. Partly because I have to keep the blank cool, but I also think my extra thin CA is old.
