This is a pen that tried to die multiple time, but I just would not let it. Started out as a Slimline one piece. Blew out one end as I was finishing up turning. Decided to cut off the blow out, cut it in half and add a center band and glue everything back together and keep it a one piece. Since it was already drilled I could not get the sections to line up properly which I felt was critical for a one piece. So, I decided to make it a fat line. Somehow got a tube stuck in it and had to do some more on the fly mods. Ended up adding black acrylic to both ends and the center. But, it wasn't through messing with me yet. I got it all done and put it together only to find I had made it about 1/8 short. When put together the two halves did not meet. Last ditch effort, I shortened the refill and it went together and works.
