A couple of weeks ago my workmate asked me if I could make a pen for his lifepartner, OK I thought, no stress here.

He says: OK here is a orca tooth (yes, you read it right) that her great uncle found in Peru in 1942.
OK I say, is this legal?
Yes.
Turns out that this guy was with the German Merchant Marine and, because of the war, was stuck down there and found the tooth on the beach.
Apparently, if the tooth was found before 1972 its legal.
