I messed up a yellow I was trying to get for a different pen - and this is where it ended up. Lemonade? Sherbert? Probably won't go there again.

This Sierra was also an experiment - painted tube white - glue dots sprinkled with different colors of sand - then cast in clear PR

The bad thing is.... I've done stranger things than these when I first got the casting bug. It would sure make me feel better if some of you posted what you consider to be an oops.

Anybody want to know how to make flame red foam rubber epoxy?

Looks great Terry, I'll probably have a few oops pictures to post soon myself :) Just cast a bunch of pen blank and a couple of bs blanks this weekend, so when I get the bricks cut, I'll know more about my mistakes.
 
Someone I know who doesn't cast but makes pens says he wants a bs pen and he wasn't talking about bottle stoppers. Says he wants to be able to hand it to the next person to whom he feels he has to say, "Okay, you win the bs prize.... and here it is."

There's a guy around the San Antonio / New Braunfels area that make cow pattie pens. If I find the link, I'll post it.
